New Delhi: The shares of the country's most valuable company Reliance Industries (Reliance Industries) saw a heavy decline today. Shares of the company fell nine percent to Rs 2365.00 during trading on BSE. However, it improved somewhat later. Shares of this company led by Mukesh Ambani, the second largest tycoon of India and Asia, were trading at Rs 2410.95 with a fall of 7.06% at 3:30 pm. The government has decided to increase the export duty on petroleum products. Due to this, the shares of oil refining and marketing companies saw a sharp decline today. In a notice issued by the Finance Ministry on Friday, the export duty on petrol, diesel and aviation fuel has been increased.
The government has imposed a cess of Rs 23,250 per barrel on domestic crude production. The increase in export duty and new taxes will affect the earnings of refining companies like Reliance Industries and Nayara Energy. Along with this, MRPL, ONGC, Oil India and Vedanta will also be affected. Shares of refining and oil marketing companies fell sharply on this news. Shares of Chennai Petrochemical fell 13 per cent to Rs 272.70, while Bangalore Refinery & Petrochemical fell eight per cent to Rs 83.20.

What will be the effect on Reliance
The government has increased the export duty on diesel by Rs 13 per litre, petrol by Rs 6 per liter and ATF by Rs 1 per litre. However, producers whose production is less than 20 lakh barrels have been exempted from this duty. According to a report by ET Now, 28 percent of the domestic crude oil production is exported. It also includes export oriented unit of Reliance. But this unit may be exempted from the new rules. Experts say that the new rules will have little impact on Reliance Industries.
नई दिल्ली: देश की सबसे मूल्यवान कंपनी रिलायंस इंडस्ट्रीज (Reliance Industries) के शेयरों में आज भारी गिरावट देखने को मिली। बीएसई (BSE) पर कारोबार के दौरान कंपनी का शेयर नौ फीसदी गिरावट के साथ 2365.00 रुपये पर आ गया था। हालांकि बाद में इसमें कुछ सुधार हुआ। भारत और एशिया के दूसरे सबसे बड़े रईस मुकेश अंबानी (Mukesh Ambani) की अगुवाई वाली इस कंपनी का शेयर शाम साढ़े तीन बजे यह 7.06% की गिरावट के साथ 2410.95 रुपये पर ट्रेड कर रहा था। सरकार ने कुछ पेट्रोलियम प्रॉडक्ट्स पर एक्सपोर्ट ड्यूटी (export duty on petroleum products) बढ़ाने का फैसला किया है। इससे ऑयल रिफाइनिंग और मार्केटिंग कंपनियों के शेयरों में आज भारी गिरावट देखने को मिली। वित्त मंत्रालय ने शुक्रवार को जारी एक नोटिस में पेट्रोल, डीजल और एविएशन फ्यूल पर एक्सपोर्ट ड्यूटी बढ़ा दी है।
सरकार ने घरेलू क्रूड प्रॉडक्शन पर प्रति बैरल 23,250 रुपये का सेस (cess) लगा दिया है। एक्सपोर्ट ड्यूटी में बढ़ोतरी और नए टैक्स से रिलायंस इंडस्ट्रीज और नयारा एनर्जी जैसी रिफाइनिंग कंपनियों की कमाई प्रभावित होगी। साथ ही एमआरपीएल (MRPL), ओएनजीसी (ONGC), ऑयल इंडिया (Oil India) और वेदांता (Vedanta) पर भी असर पड़ेगा। इस खबर से रिफाइनिंग और ऑयल मार्केटिंग कंपनियों के शेयरों में भारी गिरावट आई। चेन्नई पेट्रोकेम (Chennai Petrochem) का शेयर 13 फीसदी गिरावट के साथ 272.70 रुपये पर आ गया जबकि मेंगलूर रिफाइनरी एंड पेट्रोकेम (Mangalore Refinery & Petrochem) के शेयर की कीमत आठ फीसदी गिरकर 83.20 रुपये रह गई।

रिलायंस पर कितना होगा असर
सरकार ने डीजल पर एक्सपोर्ट ड्यूटी में 13 रुपये प्रति लीटर, पेट्रोल में 6 रुपये प्रति लीटर और एटीएफ में एक रुपये प्रति लीटर का इजाफा किया गया है। हालांकि जिन प्रॉड्यूसर्स का प्रॉडक्शन 20 लाख बैरल से कम है, उन्हें इस ड्यूटी से अलग रखा गया है। ईटी नाउ की एक रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक डोमेस्टिक क्रूड ऑयल प्रॉडक्शन में से 28 फीसदी का निर्यात किया जाता है। इनमें रिलायंस की एक्सपोर्ट ऑरियंटेड यूनिट भी शामिल है। लेकिन इस यूनिट को नए नियमों से छूट मिल सकती है। जानकारों का कहना है कि नए नियमों का रिलायंस इंडस्ट्रीज पर कम असर होगा।
